数学の競技会

　　　ちょっと嬉しいニュース
　先週末に1年に1回欧州のインターナショナルスクールが参加している数学の競技会で
　今、私が碁を教えているインターナショナルスクールの生徒の囲碁部の生徒４名が
　学校の代表になっていました。(年齢は日本の中学生3年生）
　　それも、チームの競技で何と1・3位を独占。
　碁に興味を持つ生徒が数学力が高いことが判明したのです

Small good news
　　The ISMTF Junior Maths competition took place last week in Paris.
4 of the students from the international school where I am teaching participated.

And they won the 1st and the 3rd prize of team competition.
It shows that Go players (who like to play Go) are good at maths
